I've been meaning to do this migration thing for quite some time, but as you know, I am a lazy admin. The Mambo<>Joomla break-up is yet another example as to why corporations are so afraid of going open source for certain projects.

"What do you mean there has been a split? Who do we go with? Who provides the support now?" Why can we all just get along? Well, this is always going to be difficult, if not impossible when you're dealing with open source zealous on one hand, and money hungry sponsors on the other. Come, come now... did you really think they were going to pay for all of those wonderful toys and not expect to get rich from it?

Money is not everything, but it is also important. And for the open source devs, love is not everything. Money matters. A middle ground sure would be nice here.

Anyway, many advantages thanks to the migration. At least on my end. Enjoy, and be on the lookout for new and improve modules and components. Oh, why did I migrate? Joomla took a lot of community support with it. More community, better software. It is what it is.
