First of all allow me to apologize for having to introduce you to a “black first” on such a negative note. So who is Lewis Hamilton? In a nutshell he is the first black Formula 1 racer. But take a second to read more on his Wikipedia page. Why is he now making headlines outside of the F1 circle? “Lewis Hamilton has been subjected to racial abuse by spectators during a pre-season test in Spain.” On 2/4/2008 7:43 AM I got the following link from E-Double: http://www.ananova.com/sport/story/sm_2713229.html On 2/4/2008 11:22 PM I got the following link from Boogie Bless: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?xml=/sport/2008/02/04/smgars104.xml “Seems like total destruction the only solution” was his one liner borrowed from Bob Marley. Here is a comment left by a reader on this news piece: “Ronaldinho (F.C.Barcelona) is an idol in Spain. He is black like Hamilton. The difference is that Ronaldinho is a champion and a good person.” In other words if you’re a champion and a good person they wont show you their racists ways? WTF am I missing here. I guess Eto’o is neither a champion nor a good person, and the same goes for Henry: |
