It usually begins with someone submitting a link to what he/she considers
to be a somewhat interesting/sad/funny/fsck-up/etc news article. We
usually pontificate and post comments back and forth to express our
feelings/ideas/thoughts with regards to the link. Though not all of us
are into ranting, we always get something from someone that looses
their cool and begins to express their true politically incorrect
feelings.

After two years on a Dave Chappelle type hiatus, your favorite New Jersey crime boss family will be returning to the HBO big screen on March 12th. Here is some shampoo about it, and also a google map type layout of the crimes.
Snippet: To promote their upcoming season of "The Sopranos," HBO, a division of Time Warner, and Deep Focus, an online marketing agency, have created an interactive map of New Jersey, using satellite maps from Google, and have highlighted important points of the most recent season's storyline. The map has about 15 icons in specific areas where scenes took place. When the user clicks on an icon, the scene plays in a pop-up window, which also supplies a description and a list of characters.
Be on the lookout for the "Sopranos Night" announcement.

It would be nice if this could be done, but then used to charge the hell out of anyone that wishes to use the word, and eventually discourage anyone from wanting to use it because of the expense. But to use it for NiggaWear? Come on now!
From the start: The actor Damon Wayans has been engaged in a 14-month fight to trademark the term "Nigga" for a clothing line and retail store, a search of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's online database reveals.
Interesting Fact:
Ol' Dirty Bastard used the term 76 times in the 1999 album Nigga Please, not counting repetitions in a chorus. |

The other night (last week actually) I was watching the PBS News Hours with Jim Lehrer, and Jim asked VP Dick Cheney are you happy with U.S. efforts in getting the problem in Darfur solved...and the VP said he was satisfied...
Now this is some bs...Mind you...I'm not real verse (I try to...) in geopolitical issues especially in Africa but it's obvious...We have seen U.S. capabilities before, from the Balkans in 90s, to Iraq, Indonesia, Turkey, (even Iran) and the Phillippines today (despite these being more natural disasters and "our" war, other than genocide) and their fast intervention with either military or humanitarian action...What have we seen about Darfur?....The last time I saw any footage of US involvement in Darfur, Colin Powell was Sec. of State and he was actually there in the refugee camps...That was the last time I heard or saw some actual US concern....Meanwhile I continue to hear of the vast starvation and the genocide that has been inflicted on the "southern Christian" (the media propagates the struggle as a war between religion: Islam vs. Christianity- they always do) Sudanese cuz of the civil war...Now if death caused by starvation and genocide is the world's, U.S. included, best effort in getting this situation solved, then we are definitely in a world of hurt... |

This one is scary. This one is real scary.
Snippet: Today, one in five black men in New York City between 40 and 49 has H.I.V. or AIDS. Black women, meanwhile, account for 34 percent of new AIDS cases, up from 12 percent 20 years ago.
