Lil' VicLike most "natural" born human beings, there was a time in my life where I had a vagina wrapped around my neck. March 1st 1970 somethin' was my special day, so today I'll like to take this time to wish myself a Happy Birthday, and share a little piece of my life the Biggie Smalls Way. Note: Though the official date is March 1st, I usually observe it throughout the entire month of March. PayPal donations are encouraged.

The other night (last week actually) I was watching the PBS News Hours with Jim Lehrer, and Jim asked VP Dick Cheney are you happy with U.S. efforts in getting the problem in Darfur solved...and the VP said he was satisfied...

Now this is some bs...Mind you...I'm not real verse (I try to...) in geopolitical issues especially in Africa but it's obvious...We have seen U.S. capabilities before, from the Balkans in 90s, to Iraq, Indonesia, Turkey, (even Iran) and the Phillippines today (despite these being more natural disasters and "our" war, other than genocide) and their fast intervention with either military or humanitarian action...What have we seen about Darfur?....The last time I saw any footage of US involvement in Darfur, Colin Powell was Sec. of State and he was actually there in the refugee camps...That was the last time I heard or saw some actual US concern....Meanwhile I continue to hear of the vast starvation and the genocide that has been inflicted on the "southern Christian" (the media propagates the struggle as a war between religion: Islam vs. Christianity- they always do) Sudanese cuz of the civil war...Now if death caused by starvation and genocide is the world's, U.S. included, best effort in getting this situation solved, then we are definitely in a world of hurt...

Wicked tune (chune) right here star!! "Welcome to Jamrock" has nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing on this track. Yet "Welcome to Jamrock" got all the air play. Perfect example of a rubbish oriented market. No offense to "Welcome to Jamrock" as the track lives up to the hype, but once you listen and

Without a doubt, music's biggest night for entertainers . . . and other empty shells in show biz. A step above the billboards, and two more beyond the Vibe/Source awards, yet at the end of the night its all the same dog food. Some choose to eat, many choose to swallow, and a few regurgitate it. To a true music lover, this was just time wasted in front of the tube.

This one is scary. This one is real scary.

Snippet: Today, one in five black men in New York City between 40 and 49 has H.I.V. or AIDS. Black women, meanwhile, account for 34 percent of new AIDS cases, up from 12 percent 20 years ago.

Schadenfreude sets is in the minute I see the following video, or any one of those "When Animals Attack" series. Call me cynical if you wish, but what else would you expect from a "wild" animal under human stress and "torture"? You think Dave Chappelle is the only one allowed to snap? Any Big Black Bull would react this way if nick named "Lil Bird". I mean, how disrespectful is that? That's worst than "Delicious".

Check it: Little Bird in action

Note: In the end they kill Lil' Bird, so if you're an animal lover you might want to stay away. Also, the link only works in IE.

I think honesty is the best way to start this one. I HATE REGGAETON!!!! Don't get me wrong, you might catch me in the club doing the 1-2 or bopping my head, but this is just a natural reaction from most African descendants when music/drums are playing. The NY Times however, found it appropriate to run a SEVEN page online special about the genre, and its self proclaimed king
