Well about time!! Those jackasses at NYC's Hot 97 (WQHT) were finally fined for sponsoring the most tasteless and human degrading "thing" I've ever seen. Anyway, Adidas is hoping to gain ground in the U.S. market with this purchase (20%), but in all honesty they might be better off trying to sponsor a key figure in the hip hop community. There's nothing better than hip hop advertisement (just ask Jacob the Jeweler). For years many corporations have benefited from free hip hop advertisements (timberland, tommy hillfiger, girbuad, just to name a few). If rappers knew then what they know now. Adidas is trying with Missy, and though many of us have love and respect for her, she's far from a key figure in hip hop. Any idea as to who should Adidas think about sponsoring? Should it be a hip hop figure?

Microsoft says no more software/update downloads for pirated and unlicensed windows users. This new initiative is dubbed "Windows Genuine Advantage".
